twice to reset ALL parameters in the Current Working
Buffer to their unity settings.
Pressing the
Cut
button makes an exact copy of the current timeline or the
selected portion of that timeline, places it in the Clipboard, then deletes the
selected keyframes and their durations from the effect. Note that keyframe
durations are not deleted when the
Const. Dur.
button, located in the Mode
area, is ON.
Pressing the
Copy
button makes an exact copy of the current timeline or the
selected portion of that timeline. It does not delete keyframes or time from
the timeline. This copy may be pasted into the current effect, or another
effect at a later time.
The
Paste
button is used to move information from the clipboard back into
the effect. Information is either pasted at the location of the active cursor
(mark cursor or time cursor), or is pasted into a selected portion of the
effect. When pasting into a marked block, the paste operation replaces that
marked block.
Press the
Mark
button to mark a single keyframe or point in time. The posi-
tion of the mark is determined by the location of the active Mark Cursor or
Time Cursor.
Pressing the
Restore Work Buffer
restores the values in the Restore Buffer to the
current work buffer. New Restore Buffer values saved when a keyframe is
deleted, when the
Clear Work Buffer
button is pressed, when a different reg-
ister is recalled, and when the Store Work Buffer function is used.
Pressing the
Delete
button deletes selected keyframes and their durations
from the effect. Note that keyframe durations are not cleared when the
Const. Dur.
button, located in the Mode area, is ON. Delete does not affect the
clipboard buffer.
Double pressing the
Delete
button will bring up a dialog box asking if you
want to delete the entire effect. Selecting OK will delete the entire current
effect regardless of selected keyframes. Selecting CANCEL will leave
everything the way it was.
The
Clear Marks
button is used to clear any marked blocks (selected portions
of the effect) that have been set on the effect timeline.
The
Mark Block
button is used to mark a block of time on the effect timeline.
The position of the end point is determined by the location of the active
cursor. When the mark block is active, the area between the end point and
