Menu Display
The menu display provides information about the current menu. When the
system is first powered up, the Status menu shows information about the
system.
Copyright and version information is displayed in the upper right corner
of the screen. The date and time identifies when the software was created
by Tektronix/Grass Valley Products.
The available Effect Manager memory is displayed on this menu as a gauge
indicating
E
(empty — 0%) to
F
(Full — 100%).
The following effect information is also shown in the upper-left portion of
most menus:
■
Displayed
— The Menu Display shows values for one channel at a time,
depending on the channel delegation buttons.
■
Register
— The current effect register is listed along with the name of the
effect.
■
Keyframe
— The current keyframe and number of keyframes in the
current effect are listed below the effect register number. In the example
above, there are 10 keyframes in the effect and the current time is past
the second keyframe (which is why there is a plus after the number 2).
■
Cur. Time
— The current time in the effect is shown below the current
keyframe. Time is shown in seconds, followed by frames, followed by
“f” to indicate field two.
The Menu Display shows the controls for the current menu function. The
example screen below contains a “stack” of parameter selections controlled
by a soft button (
FILE TYPE
), and two windows controllable with the
SELECT/
SCROLL
soft buttons and/or the
SCROLL
soft knob.
