Box/Wash/Mix
Press the
MODIFY
button to toggle to
BORDER MIX
to bring up the following
menu.
Border Box Wash Mix menu functions are the same as the flat matte func-
tions (see
) with additional controls for combining washes.
COMBINE WASHES
— controls how the Box and Pattern border washes will be
combined. These controls are similar to those in the Crop Box Mix menu.
MULTIPLY
— multiplies the two border wash signals. When using this
parameter the softness is applied to both Box and Pattern borders the
same way it does for NAM -, except in MULTIPLY the soft edges are
multiplied producing a softer transition.
NAM +
(Non Additive Mix) — portions of the border washes from both
the Box and Pattern borders are visible. This is equivalent to a logical
AND of the Pattern and Box border washes.
NAM -
— only portions of the border washes from the Box or Pattern
borders that overlap are visible, and more abrupt edge intersections are
produced on soft edges. This is equivalent to a logical OR of the Box
and Pattern border washes.
OFF
does not allow any border wash mix capability.

— provides access to the following Crop menu pattern con-
