Timeline
Current Keyframe
The current keyframe number appears beneath the register number. The
current keyframe number is determined by the position of the Time or
Mark Cursor. In the example, the Time Cursor is on Keyframe 5 in the
Master Timeline, so the current keyframe number is listed as 5. Since there
are 20 keyframes on this timeline, the current keyframe is displayed as the
fifth keyframe of 20 keyframes. The current keyframe number will be five
when the Time Cursor is anywhere between the fifth and sixth keyframe. If
the Time Cursor is between keyframes then a “+” character is shown after
the keyframe number (ex. 5+ of 20).
Time Cursor
The Time Cursor graphically depicts the current time in the effect. When
the effect is run, or the time is changed using the Time and Offset Soft
Knobs, Keypad or Lever Arm, the position of the Time Cursor is moved
accordingly.
Current Time
The numerical value for the current time in the effect is shown above the
Time Cursor (e.g., [4:00]), and next to the
TIME
soft knob.
Time Soft Knob
This soft knob changes the current time. As you turn the knob, the cursor
on the Master Timeline will follow. You can also use the
TRANSFER
button
for direct Keypad entry.
Offset Soft Knob
This knob offsets the timeline from the current position through the end of
the timeline. This knob expands and compresses the previous KF duration
if on a KF, or the current KF duration if between KFs. If on the first KF, this
knob moves the entire timeline away from zero.
Zoom Soft Knob
As keyframes are added to the Master Timeline, the display becomes more
crowded. By changing the zoom value, the timeline is drawn across several
screen widths. All timeline screens use the same zoom value. Once the
zoom is changed in one screen, all screens will display the Master Timeline
with that zoom. Zoom values are 1 through 10 where 1 = 1 screen width and
10 = 10 screen widths.
Scroll Soft Knob
Use the soft knob to scroll through the channel’s function list.
