Adjust Mask Menu
PATTERN — lets you enter directly from the keypad, one of 44 preset
mask patterns. To enter a particular pattern number from the keypad,
press the TRANSFER button next to this soft knob to transfer control to
the Keypad.
PATTERN REPEAT— lets you enter the number of pattern repetitions.
SIZE — controls the size of the mask.
Internal Mask Position
You use the Adjust Mask Internal Mask Position menu to set the position of
the internal key mask in relation to the picture.
To bring up the following menu, press the MASK MODE soft button to high-
light INTERNAL and then select POSITION using the MODIFY soft button.
Soft knobs used to modify position are:
HORIZONTAL POSITION — controls the position (as measured in screen
units) of the mask in the horizontal plane (slides it back and forth hor-
izontally).
VERTICAL POSITION — controls the position (as measured in screen units)
of the mask in the vertical plane (slides it up and down vertically).
SIZE — controls the size of the mask.
ASPECT — using a positive value stretches the mask in the Y axis; using
a negative value stretches the mask in the X axis.
