Section 2 — Controls
When multiple scrolling windows are available, only one can be active at a
time. The active window has solid lines, while the inactive window has
dotted lines. Pressing the
SELECT/SCROLL
soft button makes that associated
scroll window active.
Soft Buttons
The functions of these eight soft buttons, running horizontally across the
bottom of the Menu Display, vary with the menu currently being dis-
played.
■
Pressing a
SELECT/SCROLL
soft button scrolls through the selection
window above that soft button.
Exit Button
Press
Exit
to exit the current menu and move upward one level in the menu
tree. Pressing this button while in a top level menu closes the top level
menu and displays the System Status menu.
Holding down the
Exit
button while pressing a soft button reverses the
direction of item selection or window scrolling for that button. The Exit
button is also used to assign DPOP functions to the top menu buttons (see
DPOP Functions
for more information).
