Loop Control Menu
COUNT
— the Loop will repeat the number of times specified by the
LOOP REPEAT soft knob value. Range is 1 to 9999. A separate internal
variable (loop counter) is initially set to the Loop Repeat value, and as
the effect loops this counter decrements to zero, at which time the loop
terminates.

functions.

Loop counters are NOT reset to zero by the
Run
and
Stop Next
func-
tions:
ENTIRE EFFECT
— selects whether the entire effect, or only a portion of the
effect will loop. When OFF, the JUMP FROM TIME and JUMP TO TIME
soft knobs are available for entering time values. The time of the current
timeline cursor position can be entered by pressing
Enter
. Negative time
values are not allowed.
To Loop an Entire Effect:
1.
Go to the Loop Control menu (
Run Control
\
LOOP CONTROL. >
).
2.
Activate the Loop function by selecting
ON
with the
LOOP ENABLED
soft
button. By default the entire effect will now loop continuously.
3.
Select which Loop (1, 2, or 3) you wish to edit with the
Modify
button.
4.
You can specify the number of loops by pressing
LOOP MODE
to select
COUNT
, then entering a repetition value with the
LOOP REPEAT
soft knob
(or use the transfer button and enter the value on the keypad).
To Loop a Portion of an Effect:
1.
Go to the Loop Control menu (
Run Control
\
LOOP CONTROL. >
) and
activate the Loop function by selecting
ON
with the
LOOP ENABLED
soft
button.
2.
Press
ENTIRE EFFECT
to select
OFF
.
3.
Select which Loop (1, 2, or 3) you wish to edit with the
Modify
button.
4.
Enter the effect time of the end of the loop. You can use the
JUMP FROM
TIME
soft knob, use the transfer button and enter the value on the
keypad, or press
Enter
to input the time of the timeline cursor position.
5.
Enter the effect time of the beginning of the loop with the
JUMP TO TIME
parameter. The effect will loop when the “To” time is less than the
“From” time. If the “To” time is greater than the “From” time, the effect
will jump once, skipping the intermediate portion of the effect.
