Color Modulation/Appearance
Color Modulation controls the mix between two colors based on the lumi-
nance level of the input video. The mix is linear between the colors selected.
Press the
COLOR MODE
button to highlight
COLOR MOD
to bring up the menu
shown below.
Soft Button controls available in this menu include:
REVERSE VIDEO
— produces a negative image by inverting the luminance
and chrominance. Reverse Video is also used with the Poster/Solar and
Hue Mod parameters.
ADJUST
—
selects adjustment of Black Color or White Color.
BLACK CLR
assigns the soft knobs to control the color produced with a
black input signal.
WHITE CLR
assigns the soft knobs to control the color produced with a
white input signal.
HUE ROTATE
— turns the constant rotation function
ON
or
OFF.
Soft Knob controls include:
SATURATION
— controls saturation of Black or White color. Range is 0 to
100.
BRIGHTNESS —
controls brightness of Black or White color. Range is 0 to
100.
HUE
— controls Hue of Black or White color. When Hue Rotate is
ON
,
Hue Rotate Speed can be controlled by the top soft knob for whichever
color (Black or White) you are adjusting. Adjustment range is 0 to 360
degrees.
