External Mask Appearance
To bring up this menu, press the
MASK MODE
soft button to highlight the
EXTERNAL
parameter.
INVERT

ON
or
OFF
to exchange the masked and unmasked areas in External
Mask mode.
WAVEFORM SHAPING
— controls the linearity of the mask edge.
ON
gives an S-
linear transition resulting in a more smooth appearance.
OFF
gives a Linear
transition.
Soft knobs used with this menu include:
CLIP HIGH
— sets the threshold on the input key signal above which the
processed key will always be high.
CLIP LOW
— sets the threshold on the input key signal below which the
processed key will always be low.

MASK OFFSET
— sets the horizontal key offset from the video.
OPACITY —
controls mask’s transparency.
