Floppy Disk Drive
The
Persp.
button assigns the Joystick to control an image’s perspective, in
the X, Y, and Z axes.
Pressing
Post Xform
assigns the Joystick to control the movement of an image
along the X and Y axes of two-dimensional screen space (this appears to
move over a flat space and perspective changes do not occur). Deflecting
the Joystick along the Z-Axis will scale the image in 2D (post scale).
Tally Information — When the Post Xform button is high tally, the Source and Target
button tallies go off. Post transform moves are always in relation to the monitor
screen. When Post Xform is off, the previously selected Source or Target button will
return to high tally.
Floppy Disk Drive
The 3.5 inch floppy disk drive is located on the left side of the lower Control
Panel. Floppies can be formatted for High (1.44 MB) density using the
DISK
MANAGER
menu function located in the
File Oper.
Top Menu. Effects, system
and panel configuration data, user preferences and macros can be saved to
and loaded from a disk using this drive.
Insert the floppy disk into the drive until it is “locked” into place. To eject
the disk, press the black eject button located on the front of the drive unit.
A small light located on the bottom left of the drive illuminates to indicate
drive activity.
