Section 8 — Picture Frame Menu
Pattern/Flat/Appearance
Press the MODIFY button to toggle to APPEARANCE to bring up the following
menu.
Use this menu when you want to change the border’s Width, Opacity, Soft-
ness, and Softness Symmetry. Border Pattern Flat Appearance menu func-
tions include:
WAVEFORM SHAPING — controls the soft edge appearance. ON gives the soft
edge an S-linear transition resulting in a more smooth appearance. OFF
gives the soft edge a Linear transition.
Soft Knob controls available with this menu are:
WIDTH — adjusts the width of the border.
SOFTNESS —adjusts the overall softness of the crop border edges. This
parameter works in conjunction with Softness Symmetry.
SOFTNESS SYMMETRY — this adjustment determines the relative softness
of the inside and outside border edges—the overall width of the border
is unchanged.
OPACITY — controls the border transparency.
