Chapter 2 Operations

If a value exceeding the maximum phase is set, the value is automatically corrected to the maximum
phase.
Example: If the maximum phase is 200.0
Caution: Set a value that makes the displacement width (maximum displacement - minimum
displacement) as large as possible. If the displacement width is small, the influence of
rounding error of displacement data becomes large. (The CAM shape becomes rough and
the intended output result may not be obtained.)

Curve types
Set the curve if you generate displacement data within a section.
For curves 0 to 21, select the “Character Displayed” check box to see the characteristics of
displacement, speed, acceleration, and jump.
Spline curve 22 calculates section definition points before and after such that an axis can pass
smoothly. If you set 99, the displacement data of the target section only is not changed when you
generate displacement data.
Input range: 0 to 22, 99

* Refer to “2.4.6 CAM Polarity Type” for description of graphs by CAM polarity type.
If you enter “201.0,”
“200.0” is set.
