Phenomenon Possible cause
No home return operation is performed. Cause: [1] Wrong settings of output ports.
[2] Disconnection of home return command
signal.
[3] The operation mode of the RC controller
prohibits launching PIO.
Action: [1] Check if the setting of I/O parameters
(extension motion control board control
output port head No.) of X-SEL is correct.
[2] Check disconnection of home return
command signal of a control I/O cable and
poor contact of connectors.
[3] Check if the operation mode of the RC
controller prohibits launching PIO.
Moreover, check if the MANU mode is set.
* Although X-SEL performs timeout check, it takes 150
seconds until error No. 453 “Extension motion control
board axis home return completion timeout error”
(parameter default value) taking long stroke into
consideration.
The home return command of X-SEL is not completed
even if home return operation of RC axis is completed.
Cause: [1] Wrong settings of input ports.
[2] Disconnection of home return command
signal.
Action: [1] Check if the setting of I/O parameters
(extension motion control board control
input port head No.) of X-SEL is correct.
[2] Check disconnection of home return
command signal of a control I/O cable and
poor contact of connectors.
* Although X-SEL performs timeout check, it takes 150
seconds until error No. 453 “Extension motion control
board axis home return completion timeout error”
(parameter default value) taking long stroke into
consideration.
Error No. 47D “Pulse train driver home return
completion signal OFF error” occurs.
Cause: Home return complete signal from the RC
controller was disconnected after completion of
home return. The home return complete signal
may be disconnected.
Action: Check disconnection and/or connection status
of home return complete status of a control I/O
cable.
