2.2 Parameter Settings on the RC Controller Side and Checking Procedures
Connect the PC directly to the RC controller.
Change the mode for PCON-PL/ACON-PL to the manual mode using the PC software.
SCON-C, SCON-CA and PCON-CA have the mode change toggle switch on the controller front
panel. Set the mode change switch to MANU.
Set the parameters following the procedure below.
[1] Start the RC Connection Software and click Parameter and then Edit.
[2] Select the axis number of controller to be changed.
Communication cable attached to PC Software
x RS232C connection: CB-RCA-SIO***+CV-RCA-SIO***
x USB connection: RCB-CV-USB+CB-RCA-SIO***
Set cable length for the *** part. Example) 050 = 5 m
PC
Select the axis number to be set from the
“Connected axes” column and click the > button.
The axis No. moves to the “Selected axes”
column.
[1] Click the > button.
[2] Click OK.
