2.3.1 Parameter Settings on the X-SEL Main Side
Use the PC Software for X-SEL (IA-101-X-MW for RS232C, IA-101-X-USBMV for USB) to set the
parameters following the procedure below.
(1) I/O parameter setting
Set the control I/O port assignment of RC controller and position data count for extension motion
control board axis that are controlled on the pulse I/O board.

Start the PC Software for X-SEL and click Parameter and then Edit.

[1] Axis pattern selection for the extension motion control board synchronizing main CPU control
main axis (I/O parameter No. 529): The number of main CPU axes which can be used for the
synchronous operation, such as the electronic CAM, is up to six. This parameter selects the
main CPU control axis which can be specified as the synchronous main axes. (Only XSEL-R/S
has this function).
Defaul:
00111111B (From first to sixth axes can be specified as synchronous main axes).
Set Value: Each Bit = 1 (Specification of the extension motion control board synchronizing main
axis available)
Each Bit = 0 (Specification of the extension motion control board synchronizing main
axis unavailable)
