Setting of extension motion control board slave specification
(Valid for XSEL-P/Q controller main application area firmware version 0.98 or later and extension
motion control board area firmware version 1.02 or later)
If the main CPU control axis is set as a pulse I/O board control axis, it is possible to perform operations
(positioning and synchronization (synchronization of electronic cam, etc.)) following pulses output by the
extension motion control board without setting an external RC controller.
XSEL controller
[2] Slave operation command origin unit type (parameter for each axis No. 167)
0 = None
1 = Extension motion control board axis
[3] Slave operation command origin device No. (parameter for each axis No. 168)
Specify axes No. 0 to 15 when axes operates following the extension motion control board.
Example: If slave axis No. 5 is specified:
(Note) To specify an axis as a slave to the extension motion control board, it is necessary to set
extension motion control board output parameters No. 1 and No. 18, in addition to parameters for
each axis No. 167 and No. 168. [See 2.3.3, "Setting of extension motion control board
Parameters."]
