8. Plug in the Luminex XYP instrument and the Luminex 100
analyzer.
Configure the
Luminex 100 IS 2.2
Software
If the Luminex 100 IS 2.2 software initializes successfully, the
software launches automatically. After configuring the system
devices, the system prompts you to enter target values for calibration
xMAP microspheres and control xMAP microspheres. See “Calibrate
the System” on page 5-2 for more information.
If any of the attached devices are not powered on or adequately
connected, the Luminex 100 IS Configuration Error dialog box
appears prompting you to detect the configured devices
automatically or manually. See Figure 140.

‹ To configure the connected devices:
1. Click Run Lxr Config. Wizard.
2. Verify that the devices are connected properly and powered on.
3. Click Detect. The system tests the connected devices to see if the
system receives a signal from them.
4. Click OK to proceed to the main Luminex 100 IS window.
If the system still does not detect the connected devices, make
sure the cables between devices are connected tightly and
powered on.
If the system is properly connected and the devices are powered
on, and the software still does not proceed to the main screen,
contact Luminex Customer Support.
