ALIBRATION
This procedure calibrates the input current for current range high. This is a 5-
point calibration. Make sure that shunt and the DC current meter are connected
between the active load and DC power supply.
This procedure requires maximum voltage 5.0V and maximum current 30Amps.
1. Set the DC input voltage to 5 Volts.
2. Turn on the active load:
INP:STATE 1
3. Set the DAC count to 5% of its full range:
CAL:INP:CURR:COUNTS 5700
4. Wait for the DC current to stabilize. After the current reading is stabilized,
enter the current using following command:
CAL:INP:CURR:FIVEPOINT1
5. Set the DAC count to 27.5% of its full range:
CAL:INP:CURR:COUNTS 16000
6. Wait for the DC current to stabilize. After the current reading is stabilized,
enter the current using following command:
CAL:INP:CURR:FIVEPOINT2
7. Set the DAC count to 50.0% of its full range:
CAL:INP:CURR:COUNTS 32000
8. Wait for the DC current to stabilize. After the current reading is stabilized,
enter the current using following command:
CAL:INP:CURR:FIVEPOINT3
9. Set the DAC count to 72.5% of its full range:
CAL:INP:CURR:COUNTS 43000
10. Wait for the DC current to stabilize. After the current reading is stabilized,
enter the current using following command:
CAL:INP:CURR:FIVEPOINT4
11. Set the DAC count to 95% of its full range
CAL:INP:CURR:COUNTS 56000
