Settings when a communication error occurs
Configure the operation settings in the event of a host communication error or communication error.
When the HG2G-S/-5S/-5F, HG3G/4G is selected as O/I type or Touch is selected as Product Series and 1:N Communications is
selected as the Connection of the Host I/F Driver or Communication Driver, then these settings are displayed in the Host I/F Driver
tab or Communication Driver tab on the Project Settings dialog box.

Ignore communication errors and
continue operation
Specifies whether or not to stop MICRO/I or Touch operation if a communication error
occurs.
Display error message
Specifies whether or not to display an error message (host communication error or com-
munication error) if operation continues after a communication error occurs. If “Ignore
communication errors and continue operation” is enabled, an Ack (acknowledge) button is
displayed in the error message (host communication error). If it is disabled, the Ack
(acknowledge) button is not displayed in the error message.
Auto retry
Specifies whether or not to automatically try connecting the MICRO/I or Touch to the Sta-
tion No. when the communication error occurred. To retry manually, either write 1 in the
2nd bit (initialization) of the device address set under “Batch monitor error information for
all Station No.'s” (mentioned later) or write 1 in the 1st bit (connection settings) of the
device addresses assigned to the relevant Station No.'s set under “Individually monitor
error information for each Station No.”.
The communication for the other PLC stations stop while retrying the disconnecting PLC
station.
Batch monitoring the com-

for all Station Numbers
Specifies the device address that stores communication error information for all Station
No.'s. It is only possible to set HG internal registers or HMI devices. The following kind of
information is stored as error information: (For details, refer to " Communication error
information".)

Monitoring communication
error information for each
station, individually
Specifies the device address that stores communication error information for each Station
No. It is only possible to set HG internal registers or HMI devices. Take care to avoid
redundant addresses when using this setting, as this error information occupies up to 256
devices.
