WCC III M-Comm Loop Expansion Board
The WCC III M-Comm Loop Expansion Board is used inside of the
WCC III - MCD to increase the number of RS-485 communications
loop connections that the WCC III – MCD can have.
As standard, the WCC III - MCD has two RS-485 communications
loop connections. Each one of these RS-485 communications loop
connections can communicate with up to 60 SAT III Controllers
at distances of up to 4000 feet away from the WCC III - MCD.
The WCC III M-Comm Loop Expansion Board provides for two
additional RS-485 communications loops connections.
Accessory Boards - M-Comm Loop Expansion
The WCC III M-Comm Loop Expansion Board has 2 status lights.
The functions of these lights or LEDs are listed below.
• COMM 1 - This LED will be lit when SAT
communications are being received by the WCC III
M-Comm Loop Expansion Board on loop 3.
• COMM 2 - This LED will be lit when SAT
communications are being received by the WCC III
M-Comm Loop Expansion Board on loop 4.
