Damper Position

This is a percentage of “OPEN” for the actuator and this
corresponds to how much the air valve is open to let conditioned
air into the space. 10 % and the air valve is open very little; 100 %
and the air valve is fully open. Please note that there are different
manufacturers of air valves, and these air valves can be of the 60
or 90 Degrees type on the rotation to fully open these air valves.
WattMaster VAV BOX III works with both of these types of air
valves.

EXPANSION OUTPUTS (Optional)

There is a relay expansion board that can be used with the WCC III
VAV BOX controller.

This relay expansion board (WM part # OE322) has 3 relays and
an analog output for control of an analog valve for

hot water or

steam heating via a modulating steam or hot water valve. This
modulating output voltage can supply a 0-10 Volts DC signal for
proportional control of the modulating steam or hot water valve.

Fan Status ….. XXX

The status of the fan may be either “ON” or “OFF” depending on
the type of VAV BOX that has been selected and if it is in occupied
or unoccupied mode.

Heat Relay ….. XXX

The status of the 1

st

stage of reheat relay may be either “ON” or

“OFF” depending on the type of VAV BOX that has been selected
and if it is in occupied or unoccupied mode.

Heat Relay ….. XXX

The status of the 2

nd

stage of reheat relay may be either “ON” or

“OFF” depending on the type of VAV BOX that has been selected
and if it is in occupied or unoccupied mode.

Proportional Heat: XX%

The status in a percentage of open of the proportional hot water
valve is listed here.

This may be dependent on the type of VAV

BOX that has been selected and if it is in occupied or unoccupied
mode.

Main Fan Status ….. XXX

The status of the main fan may be either “ON” or “OFF”
depending on the status that comes from a Global Analog (1 to
256) that is programmed on the VAVBOX Global Screen. See
fi gure 4-4.

NOTE:

There are no force commands that are available for

these three auxiliary relays or the Proportional heat output
voltage.
