Using the EMP function requires the following hardware and software:

Two modems (1 for server and 1 for client)

Two telephone lines (1 for the server and 1 for the client)

Standard modem cable or a serial cable for direct connection

Client with installed Windows 95/98 or Windows NT
(CPU: 486 MHz or more, Memory: 32 MB or more, Available disk capac-
ity: 20 MB)

Backup of the EMP console application software
(Within the Toshiba Server Setup Tool CD-ROM)
