1 Start the MS-DOS.
2 Set the CD-ROM of the Toshiba Server Setup Tool in the CD-ROM drive.
3 Change the current directory to the following directory.
4 Execute the following command.
To recover the function of the Automatic SD/Remote indicator lamp from
the disabled status, execute the following command.
The function of the Automatic SD/Remote indicator lamp is set for the
enabled status when the server is shipped from the factory.
When the server is operated on an operating system other than the Windows
NT/2000, pressing the power switch turns off the server without operation
to shut down the operating system regardless of the setting status of the
Automatic SD/Remote indicator lamp.

For installing the Onboard SCSI Controller driver for MS-DOS, follow the pro-
cedure mentioned below.
1 Create a floppy disk to be named as follows by the “Creating FDs” of the
Toshiba Server Setup Tool.

2 After creating the floppy disk, verify the contents of the FD label by the
“Creating FDs” in the “Utilities”, and label the floppy disk.
FD label:Adaptec EZ-SCSI Standard Edition V5.0
Setup diskette, for DOS/Windows 3.1X lof1
3 Activate the MS-DOS.
4 Set the floppy disk labeled “Adaptec EZ-SCSI Standard Edition V5.0 Setup
diskette, for DOS/Windows 3.1X lof1” in the floppy disk drive.
5 Select the drive A as the current drive and input as follows.
INSTALL
6 Proceed with installing operation following the instructions that appear on
the screen.
