Set whether or not a password input request message is to be displayed
(“Enabled” or “Disabled”) when starting the operating system.

Setting with this utility is invalid. Do not change the setting.
Secure Mode Timer
: 1min
When the User Password is entered, it is possible for the mode to be
changed to Security automatically if the keyboard or the mouse is not oper-
ated for a predetermined time. In Security mode, the system ignores key-
board or mouse operations until the User Password has been entered from
the keyboard. Set the waiting time to be allowed for changing the mode to
Security. If “Disabled” is selected, the mode will not be changed to Security.

Secure Mode Hot Key
Set the key for changing the mode to Security. In Security mode, the system
ignores keyboard or mouse operations until the User Password has been
entered from the keyboard.

Security Mode Boot
: Disabled
Selection of “Enabled” changes the mode to Security automatically after the
operating system has been started. Selection of “Disabled” displays a User
Password input request message before the operating system is started. This
function is valid only when the User Password is registered.

Set whether video display is to be enabled or disabled in Security mode.
