Host Adapter BIOS
: Enabled
Set whether Host SCSI Adapter BIOS is to be enabled or disabled.
Support Removable Disks Under BIOS as Fixed Disks
: Boot Only
Set whether removable disks are to be supported or not under SCSI BIOS.
BIOS Support for Bootable CD-ROM
: Enabled
Set whether the startup from the CD-ROM is to be enabled or disabled.
BIOS Support for Int13 Extensions
: Enabled
Set whether Int13 Extension is to be enabled or disabled.
Sensor Data and LCD Setup Tool
The server has a variety of sensor-based fault-monitoring functions. In the fol-
lowing cases, settings must be modified using “Sensor Data and LCD Setup
Tool”:
Operating the system after removing redundant EPS-R units and cooling
fans
Deactivating the alarm buzzer activated by the occurrence of a power or
cooling fan fault
Setting the sleep switch to “Enabled” (or “Disabled”)
Changing the number of CPUs
To use “Sensor Data and LCD Setup Tool”, create a backup floppy disk from
“Toshiba Server Setup Tool”.

Operating the system after removing redundant EPS-R units
and cooling fans
The EPS-R cages and cooling fans of the server can take on a redundant config-
uration by having additional ones. Whether the EPS-R and cooling fans take on
a redundant configuration is monitored by the SMC board, and when redundant
EPS-R and cooling fans are removed, the SMC board will judge the server to
have entered into degenerate operation, and as a result, perform the following
functions:
