Setup of Mother Board and Devices (Devices)
When “Devices” is selected from the main menu of the SSU (System Setup
Utility), the mother board, PCI devices and ISA devices are listed on the dis-
play. If an item is selected from the list, the resource and so on of the item can
be set or changed. Since some PCI devices are shown by the same name, iden-
tify each device of the same name by the device number (Dev).
™ Baseboard: System Board
You can check and set the resource of the mother board by this item.
™ PCI Card: Bus 00 Dev 00-Host Processor Bridge
Do not change the setting.
™ PCI Card: Bus 00 Dev 0C-Multifunction Controller
You can check and set the resource for the Onboard SCSI Controller (Wide)
by this item.
™ PCI Card: Bus 00 Dev 0E-Ethernet Controller
You can check and set the resource for the network adapter installed as the
standard accessory.
™ PCI Card: Bus 00 Dev 12-Multifunction Controller
Do not change the setting.
™ PCI Card: Bus 00 Dev 14-VGA Controller
Do not change the setting.
NOTE: The six items mentioned above contain the setup data on the
mother board and devices installed on the mother board. Don’t change the
setting data unreasonably.
If the motherboard or some device is set incorrectly, the system fails in nor-
mal operation.

Setup of Mother Board in Detail (Baseboard: System Board)
If “Baseboard” is selected from the “System Board” menu, the Baseboard dia-
log box appears on the display.
