9.1.4.4 Restoring configuration data
How to proceed?
viva full
1 Exit viva.
2 Start the ConfigRestore.exe file in the …\viva\bin program direc-
tory.
The Restore configuration data dialog window opens.
3 Select the directory in the Backup directory field in which the con-
figuration database was backed up.
4 Select or enter a name for the desired backup file in the Backup
name list box.
5 Click on [Start].
The restoring of the configuration database is started.

1 Make sure that viva is closed on all clients connected to the server
and on the server itself.
2 Start the ConfigRestore.exe file in the …\viva\bin program direc-
tory on the server.
The Restore configuration data dialog window opens.
3 Select the directory in the Backup directory field in which the con-
figuration database was backed up.
4 Select or enter a name for the desired backup file in the Backup
name list box.
5 Click on [Start].
The restoring of the configuration database is started.
