Electrical System
With front wiper switch in
HIGH position, the wiper
does not operate.
Check for battery voltage at fuse block
female connector wire 32 (GRY/WHT).
With front wiper switch in LOW or HIGH
position, the wiper does not operate.
Repair/replace
cab harness.
Check for battery voltage on wiper switch
connector at Pins 9 and 5,
wires 6 (RED/WHT) and 6A (RED/WHT).
Check 10-amp wiper fuse.
Replace fuse.
Before troubleshooting any
electrical circuit, ALWAYS
begin by checking the
following:
Note: When troubleshooting
the wiper circuit, verify and fix
the LOW speed function before
the HIGH speed function.
1. All connections relating to
circuit are clean and tight.

Repair/replace
wiper harness.
With front wiper switch in
LOW position, the wiper
does not operate.
With the front wiper switch in
the LOW position, check for
battery voltage at Pin 4 at
switch connector.
If OK
Not
OK
Replace front
wiper switch.
Check for battery voltage at
Pin 2 at switch connector.
If OK
Not
OK
Repair/replace
wiper harness.
Check for battery voltage at
Pin 3 at switch connector.
If OK
Not
OK
Replace front
wiper switch.
Check for battery voltage at
Pin L, wire [3] (WHT) at front
wiper motor connector.
If OK
Not
OK
Repair/replace
wiper harness.
Check for proper ground at
front wiper motor.
If OK
Not
OK
Clean, tighten
and recheck.
Replace front wiper motor.
If OK
Not
OK
Replace front
wiper switch.
Check for battery voltage at
Pin H, wire [2] (BLU) at front
wiper motor connector.
If OK
Not
OK
Repair/replace
wiper harness.
Check for proper ground at
front wiper motor.
If OK
Not
OK
Clean, tighten
and recheck.
Replace front wiper motor.
Then
With the front wiper switch in
the HIGH position, check for
battery voltage at Pin 1, wire
[2] (BLU), at switch connector.
