Electrical System
Repair/replace cab harness.
If
OK
Replace solenoid.
Not OK
If OK
Reconnect steer select valve
solenoid male connector and
verify that solenoid is
magnetized by holding a
metal object next to
the solenoid.
Before troubleshooting any
electrical circuit, ALWAYS
begin by checking the
following:
1. All connections relating to
circuit are clean and tight.
Replace fuse.
Crab steer mode does not
function with the steer
select switch in the crab
steer mode position.
Disconnect steer select valve
solenoid male connector
and check for battery
voltage, across wires
[8] (LT GRN/WHT) and
[2C] (BLK).

Repair/replace engine
harness.

OK
Check for battery voltage at
wire [8] (LT GRN/WHT) at
bulkhead connector, Pin C2.
Not OK
Repair/replace cab harness.
If
OK
Check for battery voltage at
wire [8] (LT GRN/WHT) at
steer select switch, Pin 1.
Not OK
Replace steer select switch.
If
OK
Check for battery voltage at
wire[11B] (LT GRN/BLU) at
steer select switch, Pin 2.
Not OK
Check for battery voltage at
10 amp steer select switch
fuse, output side.
Not OK
