9.13.3 Understanding the SPN File
The span file is a text file made up of lines of text referred to as records.
Types of records currently supported in the span file are:
• FS File specifier record
• PT Pipe track record
• SB Span Begin record
• SP Span Profile record
• SE Span End record
• # Comment Line
Figure 9-25 shows the layout of the records in a typical SPN file.
