its name appears in the File field. Also, the number of points (pixels) that
are currently being saved appears in the Points field, and the current
size of the open file appears in the File size field. As long as you do not
choose Close File, the file will continue to collect your XYZ output. If you
choose Close File, the system closes the file and stops displaying the
file name in the File field. The quantities for Points and File size remain
displayed, however.
3. Choose
Close File if you want to close the XYZ ASCII output file and
stay in the Output XYZ File dialog box; choose Stop if you want to close
both the XYZ ASCII output file and the Output XYZ File dialog box.
Using a text editor such as the Windows Notepad, you can open the saved
XYZ output file containing your XYZ ASCII data.
