Note:
For this module to work correctly, you must correctly set two
important parameters:
• The sonar gain must be set such that the signals are not clipped.
• The bottom track option must be set up and operating properly (see
10.7.2, ‘Bottom Track and TVG’
).
To set up pipeline parameters
1. From the Tools menu choose Track Pipeline
2. Start playback (or recording) of data file in Isis.
When you access the Track Pipeline function, Isis positions the dialog box in
the upper left area of the Isis work space. If you’ve already started your
recording session or started to play back a file, this dialog box may obscure the
data underneath the box. When you move the dialog box out of the way, the
area the dialog box occupied appears black, as if there had not been any data
there. No harm is done (no data are lost), but you may find that order of doing
things distracting.
We recommend you first access the function
(Tools→ Track Pipeline ) before
you record data or play back a file. Then you can move the dialog box out of the
way, before recording or playing back commences.
3. Click
SETUP in the Pipe Tracking window.
The system displays the Pipe Tracking Setup dialog box (Figure 9-23).
