6.8 Hypack DDE (Record Only)
Hypack is an integrated software application for collecting navigation data that
comes from Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology. It provides real-time
input to other applications, such as Isis.
Through the Hypack DDE command in Isis, you can choose which data survey
parameters Isis will use as input at the time your data are being collected.
Hypack uses Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE, a Microsoft Corporation software
technique) to bring real-time data to Isis.
You can work with Hypack and Isis at the same time, running both
simultaneously on the Isis platform. The two programs must be configured with
respect to each other.
