5.3.3 Renaming and Deleting Results
The CableSHARK will allow a user to rename and delete results stored internally and on a USB memory
device.
By pressing the COPY/RENAME button from the RECALL SETUP screen, users can rename a file.
By pressing the DELETE button from the RECALL SETUP screen, users will be prompted to decide whether
to delete the currently highlighted file, to delete ALL results in internal memory or to delete ALL results on the
USB memory device.
NOTE: The DELETE function is not reversible. Results will be lost forever !
5.3.4 Bulk Transfer of Results
The CableSHARK will allow a user to perform a bulk transfer of results from internal memory to USB
memory.
By pressing the COPY/RENAME button from the RECALL SETUP screen, users can transfer all internal
results to an attached USB memory device. The time to transfer a result is approximately 500 ms.
NOTE: If a filename exists already on the USB memory device, a warning message
will appearing asking the user if they wish to overwrite the file in question.
5.4 Reference Masks
Users can designate a saved graphical result as a reference for all other similar tests to be compared
against. This test is useful in determining how a circuit may change from day to day or week to week. This
feature is also beneficial in evaluating similar circuits with the same benchmark criteria. Results saved to the
CableSHARK’s internal non-volatile memory or external USB Memory can be designated as REFERENCE
MASKS.
