15.5 Power Influence
The Power Influence test measures the affects that 50 Hz and 60 Hz power line (AC Mains) interference has
on the circuit under test. Up to the 9
th Harmonic is displayed.
To measure Power Influence, select the VF TESTS option from the CABLE TESTS pop-up menu. Select
RECEIVE TONE from the VF TESTS sub-menu. To continue, press RUN/STOP.

The VF TEST menu has the following configuration option.
TEST TYPE: Select POWER INFLUENCE
Measurement
Units: Allows user to select from displaying results in dBm or dBrn.
With POWER INFLUENCE selected, press the RUN/STOP key to start the test. The following screen is
displayed.
