Appendix D Safety

Information


Before Operating the CableSHARK Unit:

Inspect the equipment for any signs of damage, and read the Operating Manual thoroughly.


• Become familiar with all safety symbols and instructions in this manual to ensure that the equipment is

operated and maintained safely.



Mains Supply Power Requirements:

The CableSHARK unit is provided with an External AC Power Supply Adapter which can operate from any
single-phase AC power source that supplies between 100 V and 240 V at a frequency range of 50/60 Hz.
The maximum rated current is 1.0A

WARNING: To avoid electrical shock, do not operate the equipment if it bears any sign of damage to any
portion of its exterior surface, such as the outer casing or panels.


Connections to Mains Supply Power:

In accordance with international safety standards, the External AC Power Supply Adapter uses a two-wire
power supply cord. When connected to an appropriate AC power receptacle, unit may be safely operated.

WARNING:

To avoid risk of injury or death, ALWAYS observe the following precautions before operating

the CableSHARK Unit.

Only use the supplied external power supply adapter with this unit.

Do not use power supply cords that are in disrepair (frayed, broken, bent)


Operating Environment:


WARNING:

To prevent potential fire or shock hazard when using the CableSHARK unit outdoors, do not

expose the equipment to any source of excessive moisture.
