Displaying Port Status and Statistics
The procedure in this section displays the operating status of the ports on
a switch and port statistics. You can view a port’s operating speed, duplex
mode, MDI/MDI-X configuration, and more. You can also view the
operating status of any GBIC modules installed in an AT-8550GB.
To display the status or statistics of a switch port, perform the following
procedure:
1. From the Home page, select Monitoring.
2. From the Monitoring menu, select the Layer 1 option.
3. Select the Port Settings tab.
4. Click a port. You can select more than one port at a time when you
want to display port status. However, you can select only one port
when displaying statistics. A selected port turns white. (To deselect a
port, click it again.)
5. Click Status to display the port’s operating status or Statistics to
display port statistics.
If you select port status, the Port Status page in Figure 17 is displayed.

The columns in the page are described below:
Port
The port number.
Name
The name of the port.
