Creating a New Port-based or Tagged VLAN

To create a new port-based or tagged VLAN, perform the procedure
below:

1. From the Home Page, select Configuration.

2. Select the Layer 2 menu selection.

3. Select the VLAN tab.

The VLAN tab is shown in Figure 101.

Note

The Modify and Remove buttons are not included in the tab if the
only VLAN on the switch is the Default_VLAN.

The VLAN Mode and Uplink Port options are explained in “Selecting a
VLAN Mode” on page 307. The Mgmt. VLAN ID option is explained in
“Specifying a Management VLAN” on page 308.
