Search Network Performs a search of the network using either a
broadcast or multicast message (configured on the
preferences dialog) to find Monarch print servers.
Add/Update
Device... Adds or updates a specific device that may not have
been found using the network search.
Remove Device Removes the selected device in the list box .
Add Adds a device from the Available Devices list box to the
Selected Devices list box. Only events from devices
listed in the Selected Devices list box will pass through
the filter.
Remove Removes a device from the Selected Devices list box
and adds it to the Available Devices list box.
Add All Selects all the devices in the Available Devices list box
and moves them to the Selected Devices list box. Only
events from devices listed in the Selected Devices list
box will pass through the filter.
Remove All Selects all the devices in the Selected Devices list box
and moves them to the Available Devices list box.
NOTE: NetworkAlert 32 automatically searches the
network each time it is started to update the
available device list. New IP addresses are
added to the list while existing IP addresses are
updated with the discovered device name.
Adding a Device IP Address
Enter the IP address of the device. If the device is already listed in the
Available Devices list or the Selected Devices list, the device will be updated.
If the device does not already exist, it will be added to the Available Devices
List.
NOTE: Events contain the source IP address but not the device name.
NetworkAlert 32 uses the device name discovered on the network to
map the IP address to the display name.
