Print Server Configuration Using Telnet

8-5

Configure Port Connection (Ports 1 and 2 only) (MPX, DX, SX and MIO only)

The port connection hardware setting indicates how the MonarchNet parallel
ports are physically connected to the printer.

In most cases, the MonarchNet will be connected directly to the printer.
However, if your MonarchNet is connected to an Monarch printer-sharing
device, print jobs may not be separated properly. To ensure proper print job
separation, be sure to indicate the proper hardware configuration.
