The following options are used to configure the print server's advanced
NetWare-specific settings for your environment.
Frame
Format By default, the frame format is automatically sensed each
time the print server is powered on. If the print server is not
communicating with the file server or the MonarchNet for
TCP/IP utility due to a frame format mismatch, select a
different frame format from the list.
Queue
Scan Time
(PSERVE
R Mode
Only) Queue scan time (given in tenths of seconds) indicates how
often the print server will go out and look for print jobs in a
print queue. You may enter a value from 1-255 tenths of a
second. For example, a queue scan time of 80 will cause the
print server to look for print jobs in the queue every 8
seconds. The default queue scan time is 40.
HP
JetAdmin
Support HP JetAdmin Support allows status from the Monarch device
to display in Hewlett-Packard's HP JetAdmin utility.
IPX/SPX
Direct
Printing Enables IPX/SPX peer-to-peer printing via the MonarchNet
Connect for IPX/SPX utility.
Packet
Checksum
(PSERVE
R Mode
Only) Packet Checksum eliminates the possibility of packet
corruption. You should enable this option if your system has
encountered data corruption data in the past, or if you
anticipate corruption problems. When enabled, performance
may be affected.
