A Printer object represents a physical printer on the network. Monarch Print
Server objects require a Printer object along with a Print Queue object (and
Print Server object in NPrinter Mode) in order for network users to print to
printers attached to the Monarch device

To create a Printer object under the selected container:

1. Enter the context in which to create the new Printer object. Browser

opens a dialog where you can select a value from a list of available
contexts.

2. Type a name for this Printer object in the Printer Name text box. This is

the name of the Printer object as it appears in the Directory tree. You
must follow the object naming conventions.

3. Choose Create.
