The preferences dialog allows you to configure the following options:

arrives
Select what action you would like to occur when a new
event is received.
Play a sound
Select which severity of event should play a sound to
notify you of a received event. Select Never to disable
this option.
Bring application
to the foreground

application to the foreground to notify you of a received
event. Select Never to disable this option.
At program
startup
Click this checkbox if you would like to load all the
events in the current log file when the monitor is
started. It may take several minutes to load very large
logs. If you don't load the event log at startup, you can
use the reload events command to load the event log
after NetworkAlert 32 is running.
Use the system
icon tray
Select this option to display a small icon in the system
icon tray. When a new event is received the icon
changes color to indicate the severity of the event. In
this mode the exit button and exit menu item close the
NetworkAlert 32 window but do not stop the program. To
stop the NetworkAlert 32 program right-click on the
system tray icon and select exit.
