All-routes
broadcast, non-
broadcast return
The frame will be transmitted on every route within
the network, resulting in multiple copies on a given
ring. This option determines the quickest route
between nodes but also generates the most traffic.
BOOTP BOOTP stands for Bootstrap Protocol. A Monarch
print server will send out a BOOTP request and a
BOOTP server will send back a response, assigning
that print server an address.
Container Object A Container Object is an object that can contain other
objects. All objects are created in one of three
containers: Country, Organization, and Organizational
Unit. Objects you create in a container inherit the
same rights granted to the container.
Context The location of an object in the Directory tree. Your
c urrent context is your current point in the Directory
tree. The context starts with the selected object in the
Directory tree and goes up towards the top of the tree.
For example, if a User object name FRED is located in
the Organizational Unit SALES, which is in the
Organization ACME, the user's context is
FRED.SALES.ACME.
DHCP DHCP stands for Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol. DHCP offers dynamic IP address allocation.
