General

Any report can be graphed by either using the built-in
graph support or by exporting the report to a text file and
then importing and graphing the information using a
spreadsheet program. The built-in graphs are available
from the Graph menu of a report window. The first set of
graphs types: Vertical bar, Horizontal bar, and Pie chart
are available for all reports. The other graph types: Line,
Manhattan, Ribbon, Rooftop, Strata, and Web are only
available for reports that have three or more columns.

Editing

To modify a graph use the Edit menu and select the
graph menu item. The property sheet and view panel
allow customization of the title, display and legend.

Printing

To print a graph use the Print Setup..., Print Preview, and
Print... commands in the File menu.

Using the Graph Editor

This is an interactive, dialog-based chart editing wizard. The wizard accepts
your graph and displays it in the view area. The wizard allows you to
interactively configure the graph. Background, Title, and Legend components
can be added to (or removed from) the graph. Various graph and axis types
may be selected. Most changes to the graph are displayed immediately
allowing you to quickly choose the best graph for representing the data. In
some cases you must press the Apply button to display the change. As you
experiment with all the options and decide on a choice configuration, all
changes are applied to a local copy of the chart. The original chart is not
affected, until the wizard's OK button is pressed. The graph should contain at
least a display component.

You can use the edit command to customize the graph. The title, display and
legend areas can be modified.
