• 1 Select this iso-Froude line to display the area of flow defined

as critical or unstable.

• 0.7, 1, 1.5 Select this to display the 3 transitional flow

conditions of subcritical or tranquil (0.7), critical or unstable
(1) and supercritical or unstable (1.5).

• Display negative curves Select this when you have negative

flow data (velocity, for example) and you want negative iso-
Froude lines to display with the data.
