27 – Invoice Printing
Invoice printing is new feature available from Gasboy. When only one invoice style is
currently supported, others can be made available. Contact your Gasboy Representative.
Requirements and Restrictions
Invoice printing has several requirements and restrictions:
• You must be using the Profit Point system as your POS, running software version 2.2.
• Invoices can only be printed on a dedicated impact printer connected to the parallel printer
port on the Profit Point.
• The Profit Point system must have a dedicated key for the invoice printer. Refer to the
Profit Point Reference Manual version 2.2 or above, for setting up the dedicated key. The
default key is “N”.
• You must configure the CONSOLE.BIN program, submenu 3 to use invoice printers.
• Invoices can only be printed for the current transaction.
• Multiple sales are not supported at this time.
• Only CENTRAK form 881 is currently available.
Invoice Setup
Header and footer lines of text are set up for the invoice printer the same way as the receipt
printer. Use these line number ranges:
Ranges Function
1 - 9 Receipt header
11 - 19 Receipt footer
31 - 39 Invoice header
41 - 49 Invoice footer
The number of lines and characters is limited by the space available on the invoice form. Enter
the invoice information by using the command LOad Heading. For additional information,
refer to
“Receipts, Messages, and Date” on page 6-1 .
Note: You may require to increase the Receipt Heading Table in TABLE config. Refer to
MDE-4773 CFN III Configuration Manual for Windows XP.
