3.24.6 USB Sample Processor
With a connected USB Sample Processor you can trigger any
movement or function manually. You can end lift and rack movements
prematurely with [Stop].
In the dialog Manual control select the function [Sample
Processor].
[Rack reset] must be pressed if you have positioned a new rack
or have carried out alterations to the current rack table in the device
manager without having them transferred directly afterwards to the
USB Sample Processor (see Section 3.10.5). The lift and rack are
then moved to the zero position, the rack code is read off and the
corresponding rack data is transmitted to the USB Sample
Processor. The USB Sample Processor is now not at a valid rack
position, this is indicated under Rack position by "--". This rack
reset corresponds to the method command RACK or the method
start option Rack reset.
If you have connected a USB Sample Processor equipped with 2
towers then you must first select the tower to be used for the
following manual operation: Tower 1 or Tower 2. When viewed from
the front Tower 1 is at the right and Tower 2 at the left.
Lift position and Rack position give the current position of the lift
and rack at any time for the selected tower. After a new start or a rack
reset the rack is at the zero position. This is indicated with "--".
Note!
Please remember that for all the following lift movements a valid
current rack position must be indicated! Otherwise a corresponding
error message will appear. Carry out a MOVE command or move to a
valid rack position with [Previous] or [Next].
[Home position] moves the lift to the 0 mm position, i.e. to the
uppermost stop.
[Work position] moves the lift to the previously defined work
position. This is defined in the rack table (see Section 3.10.5) of the
current rack or can be assigned directly under [Lift] (see below).
