3.21.2 Delete statistics data
You can delete the whole statistics data manually under Control with
[Delete statistics].
The statistics data is deleted automatically in following cases:
• when the actual statistics counter (number of processed samples)
is the same as the preset number of determinations used for the
statistics. The maximum value of the statistics counter is defined
under Sequence/Method options.
• when a method is loaded with [Load method]. It does not matter
whether this is the same method that was previously loaded. If you
use either the sample data silo or the sample assignment table then
a check will be made whether the method is the same (file name is
the same) as that already loaded. Only when this is a different
method will the new method be loaded and the statistics deleted.
3.21.3 Adding a determination to a statistics series
You can add an additional sample to a statistics series because, for
example, another sample had to be excluded from the statistics. In this
case, increase the set statistics counter under Results/Statistics
with [Add determination]. This does not alter the Number of samples
defined in the method under Sequence/Method options. When the
required number of determinations has been carried out the set
statistics counter defined in the method will again apply to the next
statistics series.
The number of determinations by which the set statistics counter has
been increased is shown above the list in brackets. This modification is
also shown in the main dialog and in the statistics report.
