PRINTER
PRINTER 1:
printer off-line or defect
The printer does not answer. Press the on-line key on the printer. If neces-
sary switch the printer off and on again. If it still does not answer, subject it
to a function test as described in the printer manual.
PRINTER 2:
not reading data
The printer is not accepting any data. Is the correct cable being used? Is the
cable damaged? Has the correct type of printer been defined? If necessary
switch both instruments off and on again.
If it still does not answer, subject it to a function test as described in the
printer manual.
PRINTER 3:
not ready
The printer is currently occupied. Wait until it is ready or switch it off and on
again if this is necessary.
PRINTER 4:
interface, DATA VALID not set
PRINTER 5:
interface, data lost
Data communication with the printer is disturbed. Is the correct cable being
used? Is the cable damaged? Has the correct type of printer been defined?
If necessary switch the printer off and on again.
PRINTER 6:
no paper! Load paper, please!
There is no paper in the printer. Load paper and press again.
PRINTER 7:
unexpected error
A fault has occurred which cannot be specified more closely.
Is the correct cable being used? Is the cable damaged? Has the correct
type of printer been defined? If necessary switch the printer off and on
again.
If the fault reoccurs please contact the service department of your local
Metrohm agency.
RECALC
RECALC 1:
overwrite common variable XX ?
During the recalculation of a determination the currently valid Common Vari-
able XX is to be overwritten. If this is required the message must be con-
firmed with
RECOGN
RECOGN 3:
equal values for general window settings
Different values must be entered for the limits of the general EP recognition
areas.
